Cleric set to alleviate plight of widows, others

A Sapele based gospel minister, Pastor Ambrose Ogana Idowu, is set to put smiles on the faces of widows in all the churches in Jesse and environs and the less privileged including prisoners in selected prisons in Delta state.
Pastor Ogana who is the minister in charge of the Living Faith Church, Elume in Sapele local government area, said that, according to his covenant with God, he has vowed that during his birth day, he must give something out to the needy in the society.
He maintained that, the event for this year will hold at the First Baptist Church Jesse, where 7 widows from each of the churches in Idjerhe Kingdom and environs would be given various items.
The programme which is tagged “Birthday anniversary and widows hosting with the theme “Covenant with God, Deut 7: 12-15” will be hosted by Rev. Jide Gabra while Evang. Solomon Okpigbe will be ministering during the event.
Pastor Ogana revealed further that, based on the covenant he had with God 7 years ago, he decided to meet the needs of these persons on his birth day.
He added, “l vowed that during my birth day every year, i will go to the hospitals to visit the sick, orphanage homes and prisons, including the widows to share with them whatever little things that I have”
