THE, Ejovi and Arigbodi foundation have distributed food items worth millions of naira to the people Agbon, Umiaghwaand Oruarivie-Abraka kingdoms in Ethiope East local government area of Delta state to compliment the state government efforts on distribution of palliatives.
The food items which include bags of 10kg rice, 10kg beans and tubers of yam were presented to the three kingdoms.
Presenting the food items to the Ovie of Agbon kingdom, Ogurimerime, Ukori 1, by presidents of Ejovi and Arigbodifoundation, Olorogun Johnbull Ejovi and Olorogun Broderick Arigbodi said, “We are giving these food items to the people of the three kingdoms to cushion the effect of the coronaviruspandemic”
Addressing newsmen shortly after the presentation of the food items, the vice president of Ejovi foundation who represented the president of Ejovi foundation, Olorogun Mudiaga Ejovi, stated that, “This is the time for everybody to be patriotic to one another especially those that are well to do, federal, state and the local government have given palliatives to the needy in order to ease the effect of the lockdown as a result of fighting the coronavirus“
Speaking further, Chief Mudiaga Ejovi called on the people of the kingdom to use the face masks and keep social distancing as directed by the state government.
Speaking in the same vein, Hon. Ejuvwekpokpo Oghorodi who represented the president of Arigbodi foundation also posited that, both foundations are committed to the well being of the three kingdoms in the local government area.
According to Ejuvwekpokpo both foundations are very grateful to the royal fathers in the local government area, and that is why they brought these food items to assist the less privileged in the kingdoms
Receiving the items on behalf of Agbon kingdom, the Secretary of Agbon traditional council Olorogun Emma Avworo, commended presidents of the foundations for their gesture, assuring that the food items will be equitably distributed to the people of Agbon kingdom.
At Umiaghwa Abraka kingdom, the personal assistant to HRM, Ochuko Ararile, the Ovie of Umiaghwa Abraka kingdom who received the items on behalf of the kingdom thanked Olorogun Johnbull and Olorogun Broderick Arigbodi for their concern for the people of the kingdom.
Also, the Unievworo of Oruarivie Abraka kingdom who received the items on behalf of the Ovie of HRM Ojeta 11, the Ovie of Oruarivie of Abraka kingdom commended both presidents for their concern towards the various kingdoms in the local government area, assuring that they will distribute the items accordingly.
