Group vows to end illegal bunkering in South-South

WATERWAYS oil and Gas Marketers Association of Nigeria (WOGMAN) has vowed to put an end to illegal bunkering of petroleum products in South-South region of Nigeria.
This was contained in a statement issued by the group at Ovwian in Udu Local Government Area on Monday May 6th, 2019.
WOGMAN an affiliate of Association of Nigeria Refineries Petroleum Marketers (ARNPM) in the statement also vowed to put an end to sharp practices in oil and gas marketing businesses such as illegal exploitation , dubious middlemen , artificial scarcity, adulteration of petroleum products amongst others.
The statement that was signed by the South-South Zonal Supervisory Committee Chairman Evangelist Prosper Ohwojero , South South Zonal Secretary Comrade Vivian Omoghene , Delta State Chapter Chairman Pastor Iyelagha Doubra , Rivers State Chapter Chairman Okoko . E. Imebiesemokumo , Edo State Chapter Chairman Comrade Joshua Isuekebor and Bayelsa State Chapter Comrade Progress Kemebigha admonished consumers not to patronize illegal refined and sellers of petroleum products, warning that those caught in any sharp practice in the business would be made to face the wrath of the law .
The statement calls for useful information from members of the public that could lead to the apprehension of illegal refiners and sellers of petroleum products.
The statement advised those who indulge in illegal bunkering and join hands with WOGMAN to sanitize the waterways oil and gas marketing industry, explaining that the group is not involved in waterways, pipelines and security and that WOGMAN would seek the services of the various government security agencies in carrying out her operations.
