Private schools owners in Delta get new body

A new body known as The Organization of Private Schools Owners Of Nigeria (TOPSON) whose aim is to assist government to ensure quality and standard education in the state and Nigeria in general has been inaugurated in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Public Relations Officer of the new body, Comrade Taiye Amatesiro, a journalist and seasoned administrator, who addressed journalists soon after the inauguration, disclosed that the establishment of the new body was informed by the desire of the members to help government to ensure quality and standard education in the state and Nigeria generally.
Comrade Amatesiro said: ” Quality education can only be achieved in an environment that is free from greed, autocracy, disrespect to humanity, and indignity.”
He added that the new body which has slated November 7, 2019 to see the Commissioner for Basic Education, Mr Patrick Ukah, to intimate him on their activities has Comrade Bagh Ekrebe and Akpevwe Ariole as its interim state chairman and secretary respectively.
” TOPSON inauguration was well attended by over three hundred members cut across the entire eight local government areas of Delta central, alongside Warri North, Warri South- West, Patani and Ukwuani local government areas,” he added.
